Emily Franz is a Botanical Illustrator and Freelance Artist living in Los Angeles California. She is currently working as the botanical illustration intern at California Botanic Garden and is also pursuing a Botanical Illustration Certificate from the New York Botanical Garden. Emily's handmade miniatures, props and puppets have been featured in film, television, theater, stop motion animation and workshops for people of all ages. Emily loves collaborating with scientists and educators and draws inspiration from the natural world.
